was located over Kidders, or 15 miles northwest of Ithaca, moving
east at 70 mph.

shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.

Scattered thunderstorms will continue across the Finger Lakes
Region into the Syracuse, Utica and Rome area between 6 PM and 8
PM. Some of these storms will have the potential to produce
damaging winds, large hail and locally heavy rain. The heavy rain
could cause ponding of water and urban flooding in the Greater
Syracuse area as well as Utica. A severe thunderstorm watch
remains in effect until 10 PM EDT.
