The Schweinfurth Art Center and Cayuga Museum of History & Art in Auburn officially opened their newly completed West End Arts Campus with a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday.
The campus unifies the neighboring sites at 205 and 203 Genesee St. with new entranceways for each, additional parking and new walkways, lighting and signage for increased accessibility.
The project was announced in 2018, and聽ground was broken聽last May. Its cost of $4.7 million was聽supported聽by about $2.2 million from the city of Auburn's $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant.
