State-ranked teams
- Skaneateles boys hockey (first in Division II at 15-2):Â The Lakers have extended their win streak to 13 with victories against Fayetteville-Manlius and Oswego. Since the start of the new year, Skaneateles has surrendered just three goals while scoring a whopping 55.
- Moravia girls basketball (15th in Class C at 12-2):Â The Blue Devils added a second victory over a state-ranked opponent to their resume on Tuesday with a win over Weedsport. Moravia will hope to add another ranked win Tuesday when it hosts Union Springs. Its first ranked win came against the Wolves on Jan. 14.
- Union Springs girls basketball (16th in Class C at 13-3): The Wolves picked up a trio of wins to jump up three spots in the rankings. Over its six-game win streak, Union Springs has held its opponents to just 32.6 points per game.
- Weedsport girls basketball (20th in Class C at 14-3): Prior to the Wolverines' loss to the Blue Devils on Tuesday, they were on a nine-game win streak. Weedsport's defense has played a key role in its success this season, as it is surrendering just 35.6 points a game.
- Moravia boys basketball (ninth in Class C at 13-1):Â Adding a pair of wins to their record, the Blue Devils moved up two spots in the rankings this week. Moravia has now won 13 straight games, with four left in the regular season. Two of them will come on the road against Southern Cayuga and Union Springs.
- Union Springs boys basketball (14th in Class C at 13-3):Â The Wolves moved up two spots in the rankings while riding a five-game win streak. With three games left in its regular season, Union Springs will have one of its toughest tests on Tuesday when it hosts Moravia.
- Southern Cayuga boys basketball (25th in Class C at 12-4): Winning six of its last eight contests, Southern Cayuga jumped back into the rankings for the first time since Jan. 7. The team will look to build some momentum as the postseason approaches when it hosts Moravia on Friday.

- Jordan-Elbridge (11th in Section III, Class B at 8-7)
- Moravia (first in Interscholastic Athletic Conference at 13-1)
- Southern Cayuga (sixth in IAC at 12-4)
- Union Springs (third in IAC at 13-3)
- Cato-Meridian (fifth in Section III, Class C at 12-5): The Blue Devils have won four straight matchups, earning them an honorable mention in the state rankings. In Cato-Meridian's most recent win on Monday, Perry Planck made a career-high 10 3-pointers for a career-high 34 points against Hamilton.Â

- Port Byron (22nd in Section III, Class C at 2-14)
Girls basketball
- Auburn (eighth in Section III, Class AA at 2-12)
- Skaneateles (12th in Section III, Class B at 5-9)
- Jordan-Elbridge (11th in Section III, Class B at 5-8)
- Union Springs (third in IAC at 13-3)
- Moravia (first in IAC at 12-2)
- Southern Cayuga (fifth in IAC at 11-4):Â Coming out on top in its past five games, Southern Cayuga's defense has had one of its best stretches of the season. Over its win streak, the team has allowed an average of 34.4 points a game. Southern Cayuga has four games remaining on its schedule, including Moravia on Friday and Union Springs on Feb. 14.Â
- Weedsport (fourth in Section III, Class C at 14-3)
- Cato-Meridian (ninth in Section III, Class C at 8-7)
- Port Byron (12th in Section III, Class C at 5-10)
Boys ice hockey
- Skaneateles (first in Section III, Division II at 15-2)

Girls ice hockeyÂ
Skaneateles (first in Section III, Class A at 13-0):Â The Lakers finished the regular season undefeated as they took down Clinton and Oswego in their final two matchups. Skaneateles now turns its focus to the sectional championship, where it will take on the winner of Clinton and Oswego on Thursday.Â

- Auburn (sixth in Salt City Athletic Conference Empire at 2-10)
- Port Byron/Jordan-Elbridge/Union Springs/Cato-Meridian (fourth in Onondaga High School League Liberty Americans at 10-6)
