Auburn softball comes back, scoring five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, to defeat West Genesee 10-9 in the Maroons' home opener Thursday at Falcon Park.
The Maroons scored four runs in the fifth inning and added another five in the seventh for the walk-off win.
Magdaline Hill led Auburn with three RBIs, two hits and one run scored. Samantha Carr concluded with two RBIs, two hits and two runs scored.
Alyssa Hogle and Analia Baker each ended with one RBI and one hit. Haylei DeAngelis had four runs scored and three hits, both team-highs.
Baker pitched a complete game, allowing seven earned runs on 12 hits.
