Cayuga County records show the Williamses sold the 67.5-acre property at 3711 E. Genesee St. Road to Race Shop LLC for $1.6 million. Lake Life Real Estate Agency in Skaneateles sold the home on behalf of the couple. The transaction is now included among its .

The couple shared the farm's story during a 2022 interview with 人兽性交 while Brandon was a candidate for Congress. The Williamses planted 2,350 hazelnut trees on five acres of land in 2011. Their goal was to cultivate valuable burgundy truffles.

The Williamses decided to make Sennett their full-time home in 2019. Three years later, Brandon Williams launched his campaign for Congress.
Williams embraced his outsider status throughout the 2022 campaign. He defeated the Republican Party's preferred candidate, Steve Wells, in the GOP primary.
In the general election, Williams topped Democratic candidate Francis Conole to win the 22nd Congressional District race.
Williams represented the district, which was comprised of Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties, for two years. The district was redrawn to include parts of Cayuga and Cortland counties ahead of the 2024 election.
In 2024, Williams lost his reelection bid to Democratic challenger John Mannion.
Williams' next job could be why he and his wife decided to sell the Sennett property. President Donald Trump nominated the former central New York congressman to serve as under secretary for nuclear security and administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration. In that role, he would oversee the country's nuclear arsenal.
According to its website, the National Nuclear Security Administration has headquarters at three locations: The U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., a building in Germantown, Maryland, and Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico.
Williams must be confirmed by the Senate. The Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing in April and advanced the nomination in May. But the full Senate has not voted on the nomination.
