The city of Auburn's annual Juneteenth celebration this weekend will feature several musical performers and children's activities, as well as more than 10 food trucks.
The annual celebration will begin with remarks at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Memorial City Hall, 24 South St., Auburn.
The Juneteenth parade will then proceed to the Booker T. Washington Community Center at 23 Chapman Ave., where festivities will get started at noon.

Performing on stage will be The Uptown Groove, Ener-G R&B Showband, Perform 4 Purpose, DJ Quis, Christina House singing the national anthem, Patricia Shine (praise dance) and Big Steppas dance/step team. Also on stage will be the crowning of Miss Juneteenth, a tradition that began last year.

Child-friendly activities at the celebration will include an inflatable obstacle course, face painting, an inflatable basketball shootout, inflatable Skee-Ball, caricatures and crafts.
For food, attendees will be able to choose between Dugan's Country Grill, Fruity's Treats, Poppy's Treats, Christine's Kitchen, Irie Jamaican Queen, Mamacitas, Khadijah's Kitchen, Phat Kat Tacos, Muzzi's D'Italia Ice, Chef Dorothy, Azzurri NY Style Pizza (Osteria Salina), The Sip Beverage Co. and more.
Admission to the celebration is free and open to the public.
